Community Safety Audit Training Sessions

Every year, METRAC offers free city-wide training sessions for Toronto community members, residents, and social service providers who would like to organize a safety audit in their community. We also provide ongoing support to help them as they go out in their neighbourhoods.

Fall 2008 Community Safety Audit Trainings
This fall, we are holding two training sessions (North York central and Rexdale locations). These training sessions are for Toronto community members, residents, and social service providers who would like to organize a safety audit in their community.

• Identify what makes you unsafe
• Tell your City Councillor

The Training Session will provide an overview of:

• What are safety audits
• The history of METRAC's Safety Audits
• A step-by-step breakdown of the various components involved in conducting a safety audit

We will also provide all the tools and resources needed to conduct a safety audit in your community. Once the audit is complete, the group compiles the data and returns it to METRAC. We will then publish a Safety Audit Report Card for all audits conducted in Toronto neighbourhoods, summarizing the Safety Audit results.
