Opening text: “Violence against women, youth, and children is a pervasive and ongoing problem in Canada and around the world. In 2007, METRAC continued to be active on the local and international level, strengthening the capacity of communities to address the intersectionality of various forms of oppression and their end result of violence in our neighbourhoods, homes, schools, and public institutions.”
