The behaviour of violence is intended to frighten, intimidate and gain control over a chosen person or persons. Violence involves the intent to injure or damage property by either using or threatening physical force, emotional, financial, spiritual or psychological harm. Abusive behaviour causes a person to fear for his or her safety.”
